Josh is a long time Jacksonville resident that has had a love for cars since he was a toddler. He started working in shops when he was 17 years old. Throughout the years, he has worked for dealerships and independent repair shops until 2014 when he was given an opportunity to build an auto repair shop. He started with an empty warehouse and turned it into full functioning auto repair shop that he maintained for over 6 years. When the pandemic hit in 2020, the auto repair industry went into a standstill but the high performance and classic customers started blowing up his phone asking if he needed work to do. After being forced to lay off most of his crew, he decided it was the time to take the risk and make his dream of owning his own shop come to life. He now has a full functioning shop specializing in GM performance and GM classic muscle cars that employs 3 full time techs. Not only does the shop employ Josh and his techs, it also employs Josh's wife, Brandy.
Brandy was born and raised in Jacksonville. Josh and Brandy met in 1997 but was never really into cars. After 13 years with Josh, she finally adopted Josh's love of cars. Brandy has always taken care of the admin work for the shop after hours and on weekends but after seeing how busy things had gotten around the shop and how thin Josh was being stretched, they decided it was time for her to leave her day job and work for the shop full time. She continues to take care of the admin work as well as answering the phones, taking care of customers, cleaning, schedule appointments, being a shop mom and a number of other things. We are grateful to have our shop mom keeping us and the shop on track.
Rob - Lead Shop Tech, has been with us since the beginning and even worked with us at a previous shop. Rob was born and raised right here in Jacksonville. He has been into cars since he was 15 yrs old and loves the adrenaline from the speed. His first cars was a 95 Pontiac Firebird and his dream car would be a 74 Trans Am 455 SD. After working for Tire Kingdom for 14 years, Rob came to work for Josh in 2017 because he wanted to expand his knowledge. When Josh decided to open the shop in 2020, there was no doubt that Rob would be an asset to the shop. Not only is he Josh's right hand man, he is loyal, knowledgeable and is always willing to lend a helping hand to our crew. We are thankful to have him on board with us.
Eric - Shop Tech, joined our crew in June of 2021 and is another Jacksonville native. His dad owned a shop when he was a kid and has been tinkering with cars since he was 8 yrs old. He loves to feel the power of cars. His first car was a 93 Chevy S10 and has too many dream cars to list. If he sees a car he likes, he wants it. After working for a truck shop for 15 years, Eric came to work for us because he wanted to get into a different branch of the car repair industry. Eric has always done excellent work and is our go to tech for high performance work. We are happy to have him part of our crew.
Eric passed away suddenly on July 13, 2023. Eric was a hardworking, selfless, and caring man who dedicated his time to helping those he could. Eric leaves behind a village of people who love him and will forever miss him. There will never be anyone that could compare to the man he was. Until we meet again, every red light burnout we will think of you!
